We have a wonderful area within our school grounds offering opportunities to understand, appreciate and to be at one with the natural environment.
They work on a wide range of topics within this area, whilst thoroughly enjoying the fresh air and the natural environment. We have been able to weave this approach into our new curriculum and learning often takes on new dimensions as a result of the stimulating yet peaceful environment with that we are so fortunate to have.
They also learn how to make shelters and build on their inter-personal and team building skills. We aim for them to learn how the environment can support them and to understand how to sustain it.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
