We expect to be joining Schoolsworks in February 2024. We have a number of the current governors happy to transfer to form the core of the new School Community Council (and we are extremely grateful to them for the continuity this will provide). We are looking to recruit additional members with the knowledge, time and enthusiasm to help support the school. These could be parents or members of the community and we are particularly looking for someone who would be interested to take on the Community Engagement and Fundraising portfolio. If you are interested to join us, please contact current chair of governors Karen Ashworth (kashworth@hawthorns.school) for more information.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
